NoctiumNoctium Client has no servers of its own and collects no analytics or telemetry. The author does not receive any of your data.
Data stored on your device
The launcher keeps its data in a folder on your computer:
- Windows:
%APPDATA%\.noctium - macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/noctium - Linux:
~/.noctium
This folder holds your accounts (player name, UUID and the Microsoft sign-in tokens), your profiles, your settings and the downloaded game files. Removing an account in the launcher deletes it from this folder, and deleting the folder removes everything.
Services the launcher contacts
- Microsoft, Xbox Live and Minecraft services, to sign you in, check that you own the game and show your skin.
- Mojang, Fabric, Forge and Azul, to download game files, mod loaders and Java.
- GitHub, to show the release date and check for updates.
Each of these services handles requests under its own privacy policy, for example the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
